And we’re back.

Made it to Omaha last night. We rented an air b n b, did dinner at this cute wine bar and then bar hopped a bit.
I always like to ask the locals for recommendations, JUST to make sure I’m getting the full experience, so I felt like our uber driver was my best bet. The conversation went a little like this–>
Me: “What do you recommend we do in Omaha, it’s our first time here.”
Him: “Leave.”

Well then.

I mean, it did seem prettttty small and superrrr low key. It was fine though, but I guess if I lived there I might have the same outlook.

So yea, it’s confirmed that it might not be the livliest town, but I certainly had fun and it was the perfect stopping point. After driving for hours through Iowa and seeing 0 buildings and praying for a street light, Omaha looked like freaking Las Vegas.

Three quick facts from what I learned from my trip through Nebraska:

1. You can buy four drinks for $11. FOUR. #TewTurntTewCare
2. It has the tiniest bar known to man. It was called Cork and Bottle to be exact.
3. Their Starbucks doesn’t make/sell the ‘You Are Here’ collector mugs–I guess Nebraska didn’t make the cut. I was crushed as a damn bug, y’all.
Alright, onward we go. Next stop–Salt Lake City.
